USA Today Super 25 HS Football Rankings: Byrnes (Duncan, SC) Remains No. 1

Byrnes (Duncan, SC) remains No. 1 in the USA Today Super 25 high school football rankings as all but one team won this week.

Byrnes has been led by junior running back Marcus Lattimore, who set the school’s record for career yardage after running for 220 yards in a 42-14 win against Gaffney (SC). They play Pahokee (FL) on ESPNU on Friday at 8pm ET.

Byrnes is not the only nationally televised game of the upcoming week. No. 11 Lowndes County (Valdosta, GA) will play No. 19 Northside (Warner Robins, GA) on CBS College Sports on Friday at 8pm EST.

Last week, then-No. 25 Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ) upset then-No. 9 De La Salle (Concord, CA) 23-21. Patrick Murray hit a 19-yard field goal with 10 seconds left to get the win.

Then-No. 4 Long Beach (CA) Poly fell to No. 6 despite winning 14-0 against Carson. Melvin Richardson ran for 163 yards and Daveon Barner ran for 167 yards in the win.

No team dropped out of the USA Today Super 25 rankings this week.
