ESPN NFL Power Rankings 2008 (Week 5): NY Giants #1, NFC East Ranked High
The New York Giants sit atop ESPN's NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 5 as the list was released Tuesday.
The Giants (3-0) moved up one spot without playing a game. They had a bye in Week 4. However, then-No. 1 Dallas Cowboys (3-1) lost to the Washington Redskins (3-1), 25-23, at home, dropping them to No. 3. The Redskins moved from No. 15 to No. 6.
The NFC East now has all four team in the top 10 as the Philadelphia Eagles are ranked No. 9. The Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills, the NFL's only other undefeated teams, are No. 2 and No. 4, respectively, in the Power Rankings this week.
