Elisabeth Hasselbeck is ''really upset'' with her "The View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar about the presidential election, according to reports Tuesday.
A longtime staff member of the show reportedly told the Chicago Sun-Times about Hasselbeck's feelings. ''It's not as bad as during the Rosie [O'Donnell] era,'' the source added.
The feelings were bad enough that "The View" creator Barbara Walters had a sit-down meeting with the conservative Hasselbeck and more liberal Goldberg and Behar to cool the tensions.
In July, Hasselbeck was in tears after a discussion about the use of the n-word, in which Goldberg told her the two "don't live in the same world."
"What I need you to understand is the frustration that goes along with when you say we live in the same world," said Goldberg. "It isn't balanced."
Earlier this month, O'Donnell said her former co-host Hasselbeck and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin are "identical cousins ... women who hunt in high heels."
O'Donnell left ABC daytime show "The View" prematurely this year after an on-air confrontation with Hasselbeck.
Hasselbeck, 31, is married to former NFL quarterback and current SportsNet New York football analyst Tim Hasselbeck, the brother of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. The couple has two children together and have been married for six years.
