Phish Announces Reunion, Dates Begin at Hampton Coliseum in March
Phish announced Wednesday that the band will host a reunion tour four years after they disbanded.
The band, which disbanded in 2004, is planning three dates next March in Hampton, VA. A notice posted on the band's Web site says Phish will play March 6, March 7 and March 8, 2009, at the Hampton Coliseum. Phish.com says more 2009 dates will be announced later, in addition to more information on concert tickets.
A spokesman for the Hampton Coliseum, who wouldn't give his name to the Associated Press, confirmed the booking.
Phish was among the nation's top touring acts when it called it quits in 2004 after over 20 years of being together. The band received a lifetime achievement award at the Jammy Awards last May.
Phish is comprised of guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman and keyboardist/pianist Page McConnell.
