Education For Friends And Families Of Drug Addicts

Signs of Drug Abuse, Addiction Patterns Taught at Free Course

Do you know what the signs of drug abuse are?

Can you tell if someone has been using drugs, or has another reasonable explanation for their change in behavior?

Do you know what drug addiction is?

Do you know what drug paraphernalia looks like, or even what to look for?

If not, and you suspect or know that someone close to you may be using drugs, and don’t know what to do, you may want to take the free Narconon Friend and Family Support Course offered by Narconon Drug Rehab of Georgia.

Mary Rieser, Executive Director for Narconon Drug Rehab in Georgia explains, "We are a non-traditional drug abuse treatment program, with a 76% success rate. We know how to deal with drug addicts, get them off drugs and keep them off drugs.

“However, we want others to have this information so we can help them stop this problem before it becomes a life-threatening situation."

The course covers the tell tale signs of major drugs of abuse, how an addict becomes one, communication skills that can be used with a drug abuser under the toughest of circumstances, and ways to intervene as a family or group of friends when someone needs drug treatment.

The public is invited to the Narconon Drug Rehab Georgia facility to take the course and learn practical application for their specific situation. For those who find it impossible to make it to the Narconon, the materials will be made available, along with online and live help from our staff.

Until recently, this course was only available for families of Narconon students. Narconon announced that the free Narconon Friend and Family Support Course is now available to anyone who has a drug abuser in their life.

“There are many families who are in denial because they simply do not know what to do about drug addiction, so they pretend it doesn’t exist. If they do recognize there is a problem and start researching the web about addiction and treatment, it can be very confusing. We want to provide stability in what is otherwise a very confusing set of circumstances for anyone who has never dealt with addiction. We have the ability to help and the resources to give it.”

Anyone interested in signing up for this course can call 877-413-3073 and ask for Gordon Weinand.

The Narconon program provides body detoxification through a sauna and exercise program that recovering drug addicts report helps to eliminate or reduce cravings. The recovering drug addict then learns those life skills essential to success in life and the ability to stay clean.  They graduate from Narconon with a life plan and continued support to make sure they make it in life.
