Beyonce Knowles' New Album Release Date Delayed

Beyonce Knowles' new album has been delayed due to scheduling difficulties, according to reports on Wednesday.

Beyonce' was supposed to be at Sony BMG Music on Tuesday to make an announcement about the record's release, which was originally scheduled for November 18, but insiders say they have run into conflicts.

Beyonce' was supposed to submit her album to both of her record labels, Music World Entertainment and Columbia Records, on Tuesday, but she did not, according to reports. It was rumored that she and an executive of Music World Entertainment, her father Mathew's label, are having problems.

The delay is believed to be due to Beyonce's decision to star in two movies this year ("Cadillac Records" and "Obsessed"), as well as the duet she has recorded with Justin Timberlake.

According to reports, neither Beyonce' nor Timberlake liked the way the song was recorded, so they are doing it again.

The album, Beyonce's third solo project, is currently untitled, but it is rumored to be named "Virtuoso Intellect". As reported in Scratch Magazine, Timbaland is producing the majority of her album, which is inspired by her role as blues legend Etta James in upcoming "Cadillac Records".

"If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies," the first singles from her upcoming album, were set to be released to radio on October 14, but they have yet to be placed on the radio. "If I Were A Boy" received attention due to its similarity with Ciara's hit "Like A Boy".
