Troy Tulowitzki gets a guaranteed $157.75 million

The Colorado Rockies have agreed to give Troy Tulowitzki a guaranteed $157.75 million over the next ten years.  The new contract that was signed on Tuesday gives Troy Tulowitzki an additional $134 million over seven seasons throughout 2020.

"I'm really lucky," Tulowitzki said. "I can't wait to be here my entire career."  This premium is a clear indication that the Rockies would like to have the shortstop stick around for awhile.
