American League Playoff Schedule: Tampa Bay Looks to Bury Chicago White Sox in Game Two

After Evan Longoria powered Tampa Bay to a 6-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Thursday the Rays will be looking to take a 2-0 lead in their best-of-five playoff series on Friday as the two teams one again meet under the roof at Tropicana Park.

The Rays will be sending Scott Kazmir (12-8 3.49 ERA) to the hill while the White Sox counter with Mark Buehrle (15-12 3.79 ERA). Kazmir faced Chicago twice this year, picking up a win and a no-decision while Buehrle faced the Rays three times and lost his only decision.

Tampa had the best regular season record at home this year, posting a 57-24 record while the White Sox have the worst record on the road of all the teams in the 2008 MLB playoffs at 35-46.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET.
