American League Playoff Schedule: Los Angeles Angels Face Must Win in Game Two Against Boston Red Sox

The Los Angeles Angels spent the entire regular season building the best record in baseball and earning home-field advantage in the American League playoffs but on Wednesday they dropped their first game to the Boston Red Sox and must now find a way to win or they’ll hit the road down two games in their best-of-five playoff series.

Boston had a solid start from Jon Lester in Game One and they’ll be looking to Daisuke Matsuzaka (18-3 2.90 ERA) to repeat that pattern in Game Two. Dice-K lost in his only appearance against the Angels this year while L.A.’s Ervin Santana (16-7 3.49 ERA) didn’t face the Red Sox this year.

First pitch for Game Two between the L.A. Angels and Boston Red Sox is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET.
