Jessica Simpson “definitely” wants to have children with Eric Johnson.
The singer-and-actress – who got engaged to the NFL
player last month after just six months of dating – recently denied she
is pregnant but admits she would love to raise a family with her new
fiance.
She said: "I definitely see myself having a family with Eric, so that's exciting to think about.”
Jessica is not the only person who wants her to have children with Eric.
Her mother Tina Simpson is hopeful the couple will follow in the
footsteps of her other daughter Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who has
two-year-old son Bronx with her husband Pete Wentz.
Tina told Life & Style magazine: "Obviously I'm looking forward to having more grandkids. Bronx is the love of my life."
Asked if she would prefer boys or girls, she added: “I'll take anything I get. I'm not picky!"
Jessica and Eric celebrated their engagement with their friends and
families at New York’s Coppola restaurant, where they dined on a feast
of lobster, meatballs, sausage and ribs and the couple couldn’t fail to
hide their affection for one another.
A source said: “Jessica and Eric were very loving - hugging, kissing
and whispering in each other's ears. She also showed off her engagement
ring. She even took it off at one point and handed it to Eric's parents
to look at."
The couple haven’t yet set a date, but friends are predicting a short engagement.
One pal said: "It won't be before Christmas, but it'll definitely be
before spring. January or February at the latest. They don't want to
waste any time."
