Dan Gilbert owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers has hired a law firm to investigate the decision leading up to why LeBron James signed with the Heat. Yahoo Sports reported that Gilbert is spending thousands of dollars to investigate suspicion that the Heat broke NBA tampering rules while pursuing LeBron James. James was with the Cavaliers for seven seasons. The one thing that is suspicious is the timing of the report. James will play Cleveland today for the first time.
"I'm over it," he said. "I really am. That's the truth. I let it all out in about 24 hours. I just think we have such a great core and a great coaching staff. We have a lot of opportunities with the trade exception and the draft. I feel good about this team."
