Free Ski Fitness Video Program Trains for 3-Dimensional Forces of Skiing

New On-Line Ski Exercise Program Helps Baby Boomers Extend Their Skiing Longevity.

BUMPS FOR BOOMERS ®, an innovative ski instruction program, expands its free ski fitness video exercises with the addition of the Advanced 3-D Ski Fitness Program™. Designed by one of Aspen, Colorado’s top physical therapists, Bill Fabrocini, the program helps to develop strength and balance that will help Baby Boomers prevent injuries, reduce fatigue and ski longer.

Fabrocini creator of the program says, “Skiers need a training program that will replicate the three dimensional forces experienced on the slopes. Think about skiing down a mogul run. Gravity is pulling you down the hill while your feet are responding to the snow conditions. Maybe your right leg is higher than your left as you hit the mogul and then you encounter a big pile of loose snow. Suddenly you are tossed back. Simply doing 'wall sits' is not going to prepare your body to safely react to these forces. I designed this program using the RIP-COREFX because it loads the body with asymmetrical forces on all dimensions. Training with the RIP-COREFX uses integrated movement pattern exercises that will strengthen your body to resist and adapt to those forces allowing you to ski with greater balance and control, minimizing the risk of falls and injuries.”

Regular users of the Advanced 3-D Ski Fitness program can expect to see results in 4-6 weeks. Users have reported stronger core strength and decreased back pain. The program teaches how to turn from the hips and avoid twisting movements. The resulting increased hip strength protects aging knee joints. Training with the RIP-COREFX is also a great cardio workout; increased stamina is especially helpful when traveling to high altitudes like Aspen.

“Bumps for Boomers is all about giving Boomers the tools they need to ski for life,” says Joe Nevin, founder of the program. “Our ski techniques are an integral part of the tool set but so is preparing your body to hit the slopes. We Boomers don't want to admit our reflexes are a little slower and our balance is not what it used to be. The new Advanced 3-D video Ski Fitness program, and our Comprehensive Ski Exercise video program provides Boomers a wide variety of ski specific exercises – and it’s all free on our mogul ski instruction website.”

The Advanced 3-D Ski Fitness Program consists of four video segments including: Importance of 3-D Exercises, Introduction to 3-D Skiing Exercises, and Ski Fitness Exercises Level 1 and Level 2.

Bumps for Boomers is offering a $30.00 discount off the purchase of a RIP-COREFX Home Bundle for all orders placed before December 24, 2010.
