O.J. Simpson Guilty on All Twelve Counts, Facing Life in Prison

O.J. Simpson has been found guilty on all twelve counts brought against him in a case involving armed robbery at a Las Vegas hotel in 2007. He stood accused of robbing two memorabilia dealers who had possession of many items that once belonged to Simpson.

Simpson was found guilty on charges of armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, robbery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and other counts tied to those charges.

It took the jury 13 hours to deliberate before reaching the verdict, ironically 13 years to the day Simpson was acquitted of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

A date of December 5 was set for sentencing and Simpson is facing the possibility of life behind bars. The guilty verdict of first-degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon carries a minimum of 15-years likely putting the 61-year-old Simpson in prison for the rest of his life.

The verdict will almost certainly be appealed but in the meantime Simpson will remain behind bars without bail until sentencing.
