North Korea’s Kim Jong-il Reportedly Makes Public Appearance

North Korea’s Kim Jong-il has reportedly made his first public appearance since rumors began to surface indicating the controversial leader had serious health problems and may have suffered a stroke.

When Kim did not attend a September anniversary parade many across the world began to speculate that the 66-year-old was ill and some reports suggested the leader had died but North Korean leaders denied those claims, insisting Kim was healthy.

Kim had not been seen in public since the middle of August but he was spotted recently at a soccer match in Pyongyang that featured Kim Il-Sung University, named after Kim’s father. The school was celebrating its 62^nd anniversary.
