Clint Eastwood believes you only get “one shot at life”.
The 80-year-old actor-and-director thinks people should
take every opportunity that comes their way and insists anyone who
believes in reincarnation should focus more on the present.
He said: “If you believe in reincarnation you’re putting too much on the other side.
“I believe you have just one shot at life, and you should do the best
you can with that shot. And I suppose you should be thankful that
you’ve been given the ability to do certain things in life, and not be
greedy enough to want to stay around forever.”
The five-time Oscar winner also thinks it is important to use your brain to the “best” of its ability.
He added to Britain’s FHM magazine: “God gave you a brain. Do the best
you can with it. And you don’t have to be Einstein, but Einstein was
mentally tough. He believed what he believed and he worked out things.
“And he argued with people who disagreed with him. But I’m sure he didn’t call everybody jerks.”
