Charter Bus Crash in California Kills Ten, Dozens Injured

A chartered bus carrying passengers bound for a casino crashed about 60 miles north of Sacramento, CA in Williams on Sunday evening, killing ten people and leaving dozens injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol the bus was en route from Sacramento to the Colusa Casino Resort when it flipped several times; ejecting passengers until it finally came to a rest in a ditch.

The CHP also revealed the charter bus had an invalid plate and that other registered serial numbers were inaccurate.

Initial rescue workers were having difficulty communicating with many of the victims, the najority of whom spoke Lao.
