Monday Night Football Schedule: Minnesota Vikings Take on New Orleans Saints in Adrian Peterson-Reggie Bush Battle

The New Orleans Saints will host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football on ESPN at 9pm EST.

The match-up will pit two of the NFL's brightest stars against each other: Saints running back Reggie Bush and Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. The two have been compared since they were in college, especially when Bush won the Heisman Trophy in 2005, the year Peterson suffered injuries.

The year before, Peterson set several freshman records at Oklahoma as Bush became a national star while his quarterback Matt Leinart won the Heisman and his USC Trojans won the national championship.

Now both players are featured in two-back offenses as Peterson has Chester Taylor and Bush is teamed with Deuce McAllister.

Both teams entered this season with high expectations as many believe they are playoff-qualify teams. However, thus far, Minnesota is just 1-3, while N.O. is 2-2.

The Vikings have been riddled with injuries this season, with six starters either out, probable or questionable for the Saints Game. The Saints are without their star wide receiver Marques Colston as well.
