Brooke Mueller entered a sober living facility yesterday (04.12.10).
The 33-year-old real-estate investor - who is currently
in the middle of a divorce from Charlie Sheen after two-and-a-half
years of marriage – is struggling to cope according to her mother Moira
Fiore and will stay in the centre for approximately two weeks.
Moira told People: "She is struggling with her sobriety and we are
going away on a cruise so we feel better that she will be there while
we are gone. It is a facility for very wealthy people trying to fight
addictions. Brooke is really trying to get her life back."
Brooke and ‘Two And A Half Men’ star Charlie have twin sons, Max and
Bob, 20 months and Moira said her daughter is determined to get well
for the sake of her family.
She explained: “She was scared. We're all happy she will be in the
facility and hope she will feel better." Brooke – who has previously
spent time at The Canyon rehab facility in Malibu and reportedly
checked into another sober living house for Thanksgiving last month– is
said to be struggling after Charlie surprised her by filing for divorce
last month.
Charlie , 45, had apparently agreed to put off divorce proceedings for
another year and Brooke was stunned by his decision to do so, after she
had supported him when he was recently hospitalised after trashing a
New York hotel room following a drugs and drink binge.
The pair have been estranged since last Christmas Day (25.12.09) when a
fight caused him to assault her, something he later pleaded guilty to
in court.
