New Book Challenges Powerless Christianity

Kevin and Amy Bree have recently coauthored their first book entitled, Powerflow.  Following several divine experiences with the Lord, the husband and wife team acknowledged the call to ministry on their lives.  Through a divine encounter, they began receiving revelation knowledge of God’s Word, which radically shifted their doctrinal beliefs, released them from a subtle, yet common form of legalism, and set them free in Christ.  They began to read and understand the Word of God in new light, with the realization that the covenant Christians presently enjoy, through the work of Jesus Christ, provides extraordinary freedom, power and abundant life, exceedingly beyond what the majority of current day born again believers are experiencing.

God spoke clearly to the Brees, “I gave you revelation knowledge, now share it.”  Out of this revelation came Powerflow.  Because the Brees have a passion for reaching the youth who are struggling with the pull of a do-what-feels-good-society, and the misconception that God is angry with them, the book is directed toward the young men and women of today.  However, the book is Scripture-rich and relevant for every believer.  Powerflow highlights the often-overlooked fullness of Christ’s atoning sacrifice.  Kevin and Amy point out that while the majority of the body of Christ prayerfully, but powerlessly waits for God to move in this generation, the Bible clearly shows that the Lord Almighty has already moved on our behalf by sending His Son. By renewing our mind to the Word of God, we can receive all that Jesus has provided for every Christian by simply believing God’s Word is absolute!  Grabbing on to the revelation presented in Powerflow allows every believer to receive the many promises of God, including, but certainly not limited to, health, prosperity, joy and peace. 

The mindset that God is withholding His goodness, and that we must earn back His favor through repentance, fasting and praying, can actually hinder the flow of God’s blessings in our lives.  Our righteousness is in Christ alone.  Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”  God is not angry.  His wrath has been satisfied. Our loving heavenly Father sent His son as a testimony of His goodness and mercy, and then gave believers, the power and authority of Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, to live abundant lives and continue on with the ministry of His Son.

Believer’s lives should not parallel unbeliever’s lives.  Powerflow reminds readers that Christians are living under a better covenant with better promises bought by the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 8:6).  Christian’s have the Spirit of Life in Christ, and have been set free from the law of sin and death.  Receive the revelation presented in Powerflow, and begin to walk in the freedom, power, and authority of Christ today.
