Ryan Phillippe has signed up for a role in the movie ‘Set Up’.

The 'Cruel Intentions' actor will star alongside Bruce Willis, rapper 50 Cent and Jenna Dewan Tatum in the movie which centres on three friends who get involved in a diamond heist.

The role Ryan will play has not been confirmed although it is believed he will take over the role from ‘The Fast and the Furious’ star Paul Walker who is reported to have recently left the project.

Ryan is a late addition to the cast of the movie which is currently filming in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mike Gunther is directing the movie from a script he co-wrote with Mike Behrman.

Ryan’s last movie was the underperforming comedy ‘MacGruber’ while his next film will be ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ co-starring Matthew McConaughey and Marisa Tomei.

Jenna is best known for her role in ‘Step Up’ alongside husband ‘Dear John’ star Channing Tatum.

Set Up will be the first movie from the recently launched Cheetah Vision, run by 50 Cent and Randall Emmett and will be released in theatres in 2011.
