The perfect holiday gift idea for the golfer in the family is an entry into the 2011 U.S. Putting Tour National Championship, which will be held in September in Carlsbad, California at The Crossings at Carlsbad.
"We're offering a special holiday price of $100 for people looking for a unique golf gift idea," said U.S. Putting Tour founder, Jim Hartley. "Rather than getting the golfer in your family a silly golf product, an entry into the USPT National Championship gives amateur golfers the chance to win the title of America's Best Putter."
The U.S. Putting Tour is a new
amateur golf tour launching in 2011. It provides golfers with an opportunity to compete for the
national putting championship. Golfers with an entrepreneurial bent also have a
golf business opportunity through the USPT by holding official qualifying events around the country leading up to the Tour Championship.
People can enter the USPT National Championship at the USPT website on behalf of someone else using a credit card or PayPal. Once entered, they will receive confirmation information that can be given to the gift recipient as the holiday gift.
Anyone 13 years of age and older is eligible to compete in the USPT National Championship. Males and females will compete together in the championship. No handicaps are involved, so everyone competes on a level basis.
