Courtenay Semel, Reality Star Tila Tequila Reportedly Break Up
Courtenay Semel, the daughter of Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel, broke up with MTV reality star Tila Tequila, according to reports on Wednesday.
TMZ reported that Semel, 28, and Tequila, the bisexual star of MTV's "A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila", had been dating for a couple of months, but broke up after Semel cheated on her.
There were rumors that Semel was dating Lindsay Lohan before and while Lohan began dating DJ Samantha Ronson. However, Lohan denies the rumors. Lohan, 22, and Semel were roommates for three months in the winter of 2007.
According to News of the World, Semel told a friend that she was Lohan's first lesbian love, not Ronson. "Everyone thinks Samantha is Lindsay's first lesbian love, but we were very passionate until her fear of being found out drove us apart," Courtenay reportedly told a pal. "At the time she was terrified her career would be over if she revealed her sexual tendencies. But then Samantha came on to the scene and I was dropped."
According to the report, Lohan slept with numerous men and took drugs in order to get over her lesbian urges. Semel and Lohan lived together from October to December 2007 until Semel moved out because "Lohan brought too many men home".
Semel began dating Tila Tequila, 26, after breaking up with Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson months ago. Semel starred on the 2005 reality show "Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive," along with Kourtney Kardashian, Alex Quinn and Brittny Gastineau.
Semel was arrested in August for battery after slapping a security guard at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas. Last week, she paid a $250 bail to the court, which was forfeited, and the case was dismissed.
