For most, the holidays are a time of joy and happiness, of renewed friendships and of bringing families together. However, when drug or alcohol addiction have taken their toll, it can be a miserable time of depression, sadness and real problems upsetting every aspect of life for the individual, family and friends.
Debbie and Randy Ross of Narconon Gulf Coast have personal experience in facing the addiction of a loved one and having to seek out an effective drug rehabilitation solution. Their own son was troubled by addiction. They made four unsuccessful attempts to handle their son by sending him to non-Narconon drug rehabilitation centers, each failing in turn.
When Debbie finally discovered Narconon, a total non-drug approach to drug rehabilitation that has been successfully getting people off drugs for 44 years, they knew they were on to something. Not only did the Narconon program help their son, Debbie and Randy went on to open their own Narconon center on the gulf coast of Florida to help others become drug-free.
Having personally experienced the pitfalls of other drug rehab programs, they set out to establish a clean attractive family facility that is located in a beautiful Florida beach house. Their goal was to make their clients' stay as distraction-free as possible so they can concentrate on their program and the goal of overcoming addiction.
Although the holidays in Florida don't involve freshly fallen snow, at Gulf Coast you'll find sun and cool winter breezes and a beautiful oceanfront property with balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, a swimming pool and a friendly home-like atmosphere.
Narconon Gulf Coast delivers the full Narconon program. Drug addiction wears down the body and creates a host of vitamin and mineral deficiencies. The first portion of the Narconon program involves proper nutrition in order to rebuild the addict's body. Following this is a sauna detoxification program that safely flushes out stored toxins and drug residuals. The result of this is the physical handling of drug cravings.
The remaining portions of the Narconon program involve life skills courses which teach the person the reasons why they fell to drug abuse and how to overcome these issues. Each course takes up a distinct facet of life difficulties that contributed to the person's addiction.
The holiday season can be made a much happier one by ensuring that your loved one, who has fallen prey to drug and alcohol addiction, can be salvaged and put on the road to a drug-free life.
