Denise Richards’ daughters want dolls for Christmas.
The actress – who has six-year-old Sam and five-year-old Lola with
ex-husband Charlie Steen – says the youngsters are obsessed with
American Girl toys and their wish lists to Santa contain nothing but
the popular brand this year.
Denise said: "Have you heard of American Girl? That's all they want.
They actually went through the catalogue, and that's all that's on
their lists."
Denise – who now has an amicable relationship with Charlie following
their acrimonious divorce in 2006 –is looking forward to a happy and
safe Christmas in California after she bought an artificial tree
because she is afraid of starting a blaze with a real one.
She told People magazine: "I'm afraid that we're going to start a fire
with our light. That's the God's honest truth. It's too dry in
California, and I don't want to start a forest fire."
While Denise’s daughters adore dolls they are also fans of reading and
particularly adore reading the popular ‘Fancy Nancy’ series with their
mother.
Denise explained: "We're into the ‘Fancy Nancy’ series right now, and
the ‘Junie B.’ series. My girls pick them out. I love when they come
home with that big bag of books and they're so excited to read these
amazing books."
