company priced the secondary offering of 37.0 million common shares at a price
to the public of $19.50 per share. All of the shares are being sold by the
company's majority stockholder, Norimet Limited. Also, the selling stockholder
has granted the underwriters an option to buy up to an additional 3.81 million
common shares at the public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.
Puda
Coal, Inc (NYSE:PUDA) slumped 17.19% to $12.09. The company announced
that it has priced a public offering of 7,850,000 shares of its common stock at
$12 per share. Macquarie Capital and Brean Murray, Carret & Co. acted as
joint lead managers and bookrunners in connection with the offering.
Puda Coal expects that the offering will yield net proceeds, after
expenses, of approximately $88.3 million, prior to the exercise of the
underwriters' 30-day over-allotment option to purchase an additional 1,150,000
shares of Puda Coal's common stock.
The
stock opened at $12.19 and is trading within the range of $11.66-$14.60. The
stock rallied more than 63% year-to-date.
Polypore
International, Inc. (NYSE:PPO) is up 2.05% to $41.83. The
company announced the public offering of an aggregate of 4,000,000 shares of
its common stock by certain selling stockholders of the Company, including
Warburg Pincus Private Equity VIII, L.P. and Warburg Pincus International
Partners, L.P. (Warburg Pincus), and certain executive officers and directors
of the Company.
