2008 NLCS Schedule Game Two: Philadelphia Phillies Look to Take 2-0 Series Lead Against Los Angeles Dodgers

Fresh off their Game One 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday night the Philadelphia Phillies will be looking to push their National League Championship Series advantage to 2-0 on Friday as Brett Myers takes the hill to face Chad Billingsley in Game Two of their best-of-seven series.

Myers (10-13 4.55 ERA) picked up a win against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game Two of the NLDS, tossing seven strong innings of two-hit ball and allowing two runs. He was 1-1 against the Dodgers in 2008, collecting his win at home, a seven inning effort in which he didn’t allow a run.

The Dodgers will counter with Billingsley (16-10 3.14 ERA) who won Game Two of their series with the Chicago Cubs picked up a loss in his only outing against the Phillies this year.

Game Two of the NLCS in Philadephia is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. ET.
