AP Top 25 College Football Scores: #10 Georgia Bulldogs Hold Tennessee Volunteers to One Yard Rushing in SEC Win

Matt Stafford threw for 310 yards and a touchdown, Knowshon Moreno rushed for 101 yards, Blair Walsh kicked four field goals and the #10 Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 2-1) held the Tennessee Volunteers (2-4, 0-3) running game to just one yard in a 26-14 victory on Saturday.

Brannan Southerland gave the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a one-yard touchdown run and after Blair Walsh kicked a pair of field goals Georgia was up 13-0. Tennessee cut their deficit to 13-7 late in the first half on a Nick Stephens 2-yard pass to Gerald Jones but Georgia marched down the field and Stafford hit Mohamed Massaquoi on a 9-yard TD pass to head into the break in front 20-7.

Stephens put the Volunteers in the endzone in the third quarter after hitting Lucas Taylor on a 12-yard pass but those would be the last points Tennessee would score. Walsh padded the Bullldogs lead with two field goals in the fourth to seal the game.

Georgia will host Vanderbilt next week while Tennessee hosts Mississippi State.
