Former Miss Arizona Contestant Sentenced to Prison For Violent Kidnap and Assault

A former Miss Arizona contestant was sentenced Thursday by Pima County Superior Court Judge Michael Miller to two years in Arizona State Prison,  for her role in the twisted kidnap and torture of her ex-boyfriend Joshua Conway.

The troubled 28-year-old beauty queen and former University of Arizona law school student who once clerked for a federal judge, was given six years of probation after pleading guilty to conspiracy to kidnap and aggravated assault charges.

Fulbright's was arrested in 2007 with three other men for the brutal attack on then-boyfriend, who was slashed with a knife, beaten and held at gunpoint for hours before escaping.

As part of a plea agreement, Fulbright agreed to testify against another former flame, Robert Ergonis, the accused ringleader of the robbery.  In Addition to the sentence, Judge Miller also ordered Fulbright to pay $15,000 restitution and  agreed to allow Fulbright to move to Florida when she is released from prison.
