World Cup 2010 European Qualifier Group Nine Results for Oct. 11
After Group Nine of the European qualifying stages wrapped up on Saturday it was evident that the Netherlands were in control as they blanked Iceland while Scotland and Norway played to a scoreless draw.
The Netherlands were playing just their second match having already dropped Macedonia in their opener they pushed their point total to six with an easy 2-0 win over Iceland.
Scotland moved up into second place in the standings after earning scoreless draw with Norway. It was Scotland’s third match though and both Norway and Macedonia have played just twice.
