Los Angeles Wildfires Blamed for One Death According to Mayor

The Los Angeles wildfires that have threatened the suburbs surrounding the downtown area of the city have been blamed for at least one death according to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

Reports have indicated the death occurred in the San Fernando Valley where fires have charred 3,700 acres since Sunday morning. No details of the death have been released.

A second wildfire ignited on Monday in the hills above suburbs in San Fernando Valley.
