World Cup 2010 European Qualifier Group Seven Schedule for Oct. 15
The race for a World Cup ticket continues for Group Seven in the European qualifier on Wednesday with leaders Serbia and Lithuania both in action and looking to solidify their standings in the group.
Lithuania is coming off a loss to Serbia on Sunday in which they failed to score but they should find welcome relief in their match on Wednesday when they face Faroe Islands who have yet to win a match but are coming off a draw against Austria.
Serbia controls their destiny in Group Seven play after blanking Lithuania 3-0 on Sunday but will face an Austria side that is looking to bounce back from their disappointing draw with Faroe Islands on Sunday. A victory would jump them ahead of Serbia and could give them the lead in the group.
