Gavin Henson and Scott Maslen were voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (12.12.10).

The pair - who are partnered by Katya Virshilas and Natalie Lowe - received the lowest proportion of the public vote, and narrowly missed out on a place in next weekend's final.

However, the Welsh rugby ace is not down-hearted, as he is now turning his attention to finding a girlfriend after splitting from singer Charlotte Church earlier this year.

He explained: "'Strictly' has transformed my nights out. Before I would just stand at the bar and look cool. Now I'm out there with the girls on the dancefloor. It's much more fun."

The 28-year-old hunk also admitted while he was "a bit sad" to leave the BBC One show, he was thrilled to have gone so far in the competition.

He added to The Sun newspaper: "I've outdone myself. It was a big achievement just to get through the first week. I'm a bit sad that it's over. It's taken over my life for the last three months."

Meanwhile, former judge Arlene Phillips thinks ex-'EastEnders' actress Kara Tointon will win next week's final because of her chemistry with rumoured boyfriend and dance partner Artem Chigvintsev.

She said: "There is a very powerful aroma around those two - Artem is such a horny male! He is so strong and powerful and she's so delicate and fragile."

Kara, alongside Matt Baker and Pamela Stephenson will now battle it out in next weekend's final.
