FTC Shuts Down Spam E-Mail Operators Peddling Prescription Drugs and Male Enhancement Pills

The Federal Trade Commission has announced one of the world’s largest e-mail spam operations has been shut down.

Authorities in Chicago worked with authorities in New Zealand to bust the group responsible for flooding email in-boxes with numerous messages for prescription drugs and male enhancement pills.

More information about the bust is expected to be revealed at a news conference in Chicago.
