Kate Middleton has been criticised for her “unadventurous” hairstyle, by top hairdresser Nicky Clarke.
A week after Prince William’s future bride was told to hire a “fleet of
stylists” by actress Joanna Lumley, Kate’s hair has come into question
by the legendary hair stylist to the stars.
Speaking about how Kate will wear her hair on her big day, Nicky told
Britain’s Daily Telegraph: “She will probably have it done very simply.
She’s not the most adventurous, is she?”
However despite the negative opinions, Kate has already become a
fashion icon after the outfits she wore for her official engagement
photographs proved popular with the public.
A vintage-inspired silk blouse from London high street chain Whistles
from the line’s 2008 collection, will be re-released in time for the
April 29 royal wedding, “due to a surge in customer interest,”
according to the company’s CEO Jane Shepherdson.
A white dress from British store Reiss worn in a second picture is reportedly now selling on eBay for twice its original price.
Founder David Reiss told People.com: “Kate has been a customer of Reiss
for some time now. Having the eyes of the world upon her and
subsequently her pick from national and international designers alike,
we were delighted that Kate chose to show her support for British brand
Reiss.”
The £385 Issa gown Kate wore to announce her engagement last month sold out in just 24 hours.
