EastEnders' Janine Malloy will regret poisoning her husband Ryan.
The scheming villain - played by Charlie Brooks - will "see red" when
she realises Ryan (Neil McDermott) has been secretly seeing Stacey
Branning, the mother of his baby, behind her back.
However, she will soon live to regret her actions when the love of her life is left fighting for his life.
Charlie explained: "I think she is fully aware of what she's doing, but
it's typical Janine - she'll do it and then regret it once it's too
late!
"When she crushed up more pills to give to him, that comes from
absolute anger over his love for Stacey - so I think she's just seen
red and behaved very irresponsibly."
Despite having played the Walford baddie on and off for 11 years, the
29-year-old actress admitted she loves playing such a "b****y"
character.
Charlie added to Digital Spy: "It is a dark storyline and there are
actually more of those coming up! I'm embracing the b***h! It's not a
far-fetched story - it comes from the hurt and the desperation and so
the storyline actually comes from a very truthful place.
"When you think about Janine and her track record, her bad behaviour
has always come from hurt and her inability to deal with any sort of
emotion. I've embraced the storyline and it's good to have Janine back
into full-on b***h mode, I have to say!"
