Casey Anthony to be Charged with First-Degree Murder of Missing Daughter Caylee Anthony

Casey Anthony will be charged with first-degree murder as well as other charges related to the disappearance of her three-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony.

A Florida grand jury found there was enough evidence to indict Casey Anthony and the 22-year-old was arrested shortly after the indictment was issued.

The 19-member grand jury heard testimony from several people on Tuesday including Casey Anthony’s father, George Anthony, who was asked about the odor that was coming from the trunk of a vehicle driven by his daughter.

Investigators have state revealed there was evidence of human decomposition in the trunk as well as DNA evidence that supported the theory Caylee Anthony had been in the trunk.

After hearing the testimony the grand jury issued the indictment based on the belief that there was enough evidence to charge Caylee Anthony with murder. She is now facing aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and several counts of lying to investigators along with the first-degree murder charge.
