Corporate Philanthropy: PostcardMania Donates Printing Despite Economy

During a tough economy, PostcardMania continues to help out charities with their printing needs.

Despite handling the direct mailing needs of thousands of companies nationwide, PostcardMania has a division dedicated to handling pro-bono work for non-profit organizations – the only stipulation being that these organizations have the purpose of assisting mankind to improve his lot and make the world a better place.  PostcardMania has donated hundreds of thousands of postcards to charities to date.  An upcoming major event they are printing for is the 2008 Clearwater Veterans Appreciation Day, put on by the Clearwater Veterans Alliance.

The CVA is a non-profit organization developed to provide the citizens of Clearwater and surrounding Pinellas County communities an opportunity to show their appreciation to the veterans of the United States Military Services.  Their biggest event, the 2008 Clearwater Veterans Appreciation Day, is expected to bring over 9000 attendees this year, including elected local and State officials, to honor all veterans of the Armed Forces.

PostcardMania’s vendors also contributed to the event and donated their supplies for its promotion:

  • West Coast Graphics
  • Wikoff Inks
  • G.E. Richards
  • Case Papers
  • Pitman / AGFA

“I think what the CVA is doing is a great service to all veterans,” said Chris Miller, PostcardMania’s VP Manufacturing, “and I am very glad that our vendors came together to help them help the veterans.”
