Gale Harold, a newcomer to the cast of the hit show "Desperate Housewives," was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday.
Harold, who plays the love interest of Teri Hatcher on "Desperate Housewives," is awaiting further tests. He is in intensive care at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He reportedly hurt his shoulder and has swelling on the brain.
No one else was injured in the accident and no further details of the accident have been given yet. Harold may need a couple of weeks to recover.
Prior to "Desperate Housewives," Harold starred on Showtime's "Queer As Folk". He was also seen off-Broadway in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Tennessee Williams' Suddenly Last Summer.
