ITV bosses are planning a new version of 'I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Here!' to find the ultimate King or Queen of the Jungle.
The series – which is being planned to mark the show's tenth
anniversary - would involve a whole host of past winners and popular
campmates returning to Australia and battling it out in the hope of
being crowned champion of champions.
Past winners Tony Blackburn – who was the first ever King of the Jungle
– former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, comedian Joe Pasquale and
cricket star Phil Tufnell are all hoped to join the line-up.
Meanwhile, producers also reportedly have popular contestants who
didn't win 'I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!' on their wish list,
such as eccentric cleaning expert Kim Woodburn, former model Janice
Dickinson and singer Peter Andre.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "This could be the greatest line-up ever for a reality show."
However, one star who will not be invited back to the Australian jungle
is Peter's ex-wife Katie Price – who he met on the show in 2004 – after
she reportedly angered ITV bosses by moving her hit reality show to
rival channel Living.
