World Cup 2010 European Qualifier Group Four Scores for Oct. 15
Group Four action in the 2010 World Cup European qualifying action on Wednesday featured the four top teams and Germany proved they were in a class all their own as they now sit four points clear of Russia in group play.
Germany managed to top Wales 1-0 for their third win of group play and they remain the only side without a loss. Germany just beat Russia on Sunday and now has ten points in group play and a commanding lead.
Russian bounced back from their loss to Germany on Sunday with an impressive 3-0 blanking of Finland. The win moved them into second in the group and they still have a game in hand while the loss damaged Finland’s hopes of surviving the group.
