Shaun Ryder wasn't "fazed" by appearing on 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!'

The Happy Mondays frontman - who came second in the ITV1 show - explained he has lived in worse conditions than those he experienced in the jungle, and thinks he could have completed a six-month stint on the series.

He said: "It didn't faze me one bit, not at all, you know.  I didn't find it particularly a hard place or anything, I've lived in worse places and worse conditions. Obviously not in that jungle, in a concrete jungle.

"So yeah, it was great, I loved it, I loved being institutionalised as well, getting up at a certain time, having dinner at a certain time, lunch at a certain time, whatever, going out, bit of a workout, and then bed, yeah. I could have easily done six months in the jungle."

The famously foul-mouthed star - who was once banned from appearing on Channel 4 after swearing live on TV - also revealed he has knocked his bad language on the head now he has become friends with clean-living 'This Morning' presenter Philip Schofield.

Shaun added to the Geoff Lloyd Absolute Radio show: "I don't swear any more now you know, now I'm hanging around with Phillip Schofield I just don't swear."
