AP Top 25 College Football Schedule: #4 Oklahoma Sooners Hosts #16 Kansas Jayhawks

#4 Oklahoma Sooners will take on #16 Kansas Jayhawks in a key Big 12 matchup on Saturday at 3:30pm EST.

The Sooners entered their Red River Shootout rivalry with the Texas Longhorns ranked No. 1 in the AP Top 25 college football rankings. However, Oklahoma lost to Texas, 45-35, dropping them three spots and catapulting UT to the top spot.

Oklahoma looks to bounce back, but will face a tough Jayhawks team. Oklahoma's offense ranks sixth in the nation with 522.5 yards per game, and fourth in scoring (47.2 points per game).

Quarterback Sam Bradford has become a serious contender for the Heisman Trophy. He has thrown for 2,052 yards, 23 touchdowns and five interceptions. His three favorite targets Manuel Johnson, Joaquin Iglesias and Jermaine Gresham have been great this season.

Kansas also has a great offense, ranking seventh in the nation in passing offense and 14th in total offense. Quarterback Todd Reesing is continuing his exceptional play from last season, throwing for 1,980 yards and 15 touchdowns. Receiver Kerry Meier leads the Big 12 in receptions per game and is second in receiving yards per game.

Oklahoma and Kansas are the Big 12's top-ranked defenses in total defense. Kansas is second in scoring defense and rushing defense (both behind Texas), while Oklahoma is second in sacks and tackles for loss.
