Spanish Airline Halts Operations Due to Financial Difficulties

A Spanish airline has announced it has suspended operations and will no longer take bookings after suffering tremendous losses.

LTE International told Spanish authorities that it lacked the financing to meet the costs of future operations and announced the suspension of operation on Thursday.

In a statement released on their company Web site LTE announced, “After 20 years operating with maximum dedication to our clients, it just was not possible to avoid this situation, given world events lately.”

LTE carried flights out of Spain to the UK, Italy and Saudi Arabia.
