AP Top 25 College Football Scores: #14 Utah Utes Blast Colorado State to Stay Unbeaten

Corbin Louks rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on five carries, Matt Asiata added 41 yards rushing and a pair of TDs and Brian Johnson threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns as the #14 Utah Utes (8-0, 4-0) rolled up 549 yards of offense in a 49-16 blasting of the Colorado State Rams (3-4, 1-2) in MWC action on Saturday.

Utah dominated the Rams with a rushing attack that collected 327 yards and produced five TDs, the first two coming from Asiata on 3-yard bursts in the first half but the final three, all in the second half, were over 20 yards as Louks scored on runs of 21 and 69-yards and Jereme Brooks scored on a 34-yard run.

Johnson also opted to score from a distance as he threw touchdown passes of 32-yards to Freddie Brown and 33-yards to David Reed.

Colorado State had all kinds of trouble sustaining drive s as they managed to convert just 3-15 third down attempts while Utah converted 5-9 on third down.

Utah will face New Mexico in two weeks while Colorado State takes on San Diego State next week.
