AP Top 25 College Football Scores: Terrelle Pryor Leads #12 Ohio State Buckeyes to Rout of #20 Michigan State

Terrell Pryor threw for 116 yards and a touchdown and added 72 yards rushing and a TD, Beanie Wells rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns and the #12 Ohio State Buckeyes (7-1, 4-0) forced five turnovers and returned two fumbles for touchdowns as they blasted the #20 Michigan State Spartans (6-2, 3-1) 45-7 in Big-Ten action on Saturday.

Pryor put the Buckeyes on the board in the first quarter with an 18-yard touchdown run and then he hit Brian Robiskie on a 7-yard toss to push Ohio State’s lead to 14-0. Beanie Wells wrapped up the scoring in the first quarter with a one-yard run and the Buckeyes had a commanding 21-0 lead.

Wells pushed that lead to 28-0 in the second quarter when he found the endzone on a 12-yard run and Michigan State went into the half blanked.

The Spartans got off to a good start in the third as Kirk Cousins hit Charlie Gantt on a 3-yard toss to put the score at 28-7 but that would be the last time Michigan State would see the endzone.

In the fourth quarter it was the Buckeyes defense that sealed the win as Thaddeus Gibson collected a fumble and returned it 69-yards for a touchdown and after Aaron Pettrey kicked a 40-yard field goal to make the score 38-7 Ohio State collected another fumble, this time by Jermale Hines and he went 48-yards for the final score.

Ohio State will host Penn State next week while Michigan State travels to Michigan.
