Ben Roethlisberger threw for 216 yards and a pair of TDs, Mewelde Moore rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns and the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-1) held the Cincinnati Bengals (0-7) to just 212 yards of total offense and collected seven sacks in a 38-10 blowout on Sunday.
The Steelers jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on a Moore 2-yard touchdown reception from Roethlisberger and a 21-yard field goal from Jeff Reed but Chad Johnson pulled the Bengals back to within 10-7 at halftime on a 5-yard catch from Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Moore pushed the lead back to ten on a 13-yard touchdown run in the third quarter but the Bengals continued to hang around and after Dave Rayner kicked a 26-yard field goal they trailed 17-10 heading into the fourth quarter.
Roethlisberger then connected on his second touchdown pass of the game when he hit Nate Washington on a 50-yard touchdown toss and when Moore found the endzone on a 2-yard TD run with 5:17 left in the game the Steelers move in front 31-10.
Byron Leftwich came on for Roethlisberger late in the game and he wrapped up the scoring with a 16-yard touchdown toss to Hines Ward.
