Anne Pressly, KATV Morning News Anchor, Remains in Critical Condition after Attack

Anne Pressly, a morning news anchor for KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock, Ark., remains in critical condition at a local hospital after she was brutally attacked in her home Sunday night and left beaten and stabbed.

Pressly, 26, was found lying motionless in her bed suffering from life-threatening wounds early Monday morning. It was Pressly’s mother who discovered her after trying to call her daughter but not getting an answer.

She was rushed to St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center with multiple stab wounds and injuries sustained from what police called a beating.

Police have not released a motive for the attack but have said Pressly’s purse was missing. There were no signs of forced entry at her house.
