At least 13 Killed Following Bomb Blast in Northeast India

A bomb blast near a police barracks in the Indian state of Manipur has left at least 13 dead and another 20 injured.

While the bombing appeared to be targeting the state’s police force in Imphal, the capital of Manipur, officials have said most of the victims have been identified as civilians.

There have been no claims of responsibility for the attack but Manipur is known for being home to several rebel groups pushing various causes.
