An Israeli police spokesman confirms the body of an American tourist was found Sunday. Police say the body of 40-year-old Christine Logan was found in a forest outside Jerusalem. They launched a search for Logan after another woman identified as Kaye Susan Wilson stumbled into a picnic area with multiple stab wounds. She told police two Arab men attacked her and Logan with a knife. Wilson said she managed to escape by playing dead.
“One of them pulled out a very long knife, like a bread knife with a sharpened edge. They stabbed me 12 times. They came to kill. Nobody walks around with a knife like that for no reason,” Wilson, a British citizen living in Israel,” told reporters.
Authorities have not made any arrests. "We are still looking at all directions in the investigation, but the main direction now is that it was a nationalistically motivated attack,” said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.
