Elisa Sednaoui has become the new face of Giorgio Armani.

The model-and-actress - who has previously worked for Diane von Furstenberg and Diesel - replaces Lithuanian beauty Edita Vilkeviciute in the spring/summer 2011 campaign, which was shot in London by Nick Knight and will be unveiled in February.

While the Italian beauty is a hit with designers all over the world, she has previously said she wants variety in her career.

She said: "I would love to be a model, an actress, a director, why not a producer, take pictures, art direct, study politics and history of arts; do whatever I feel like at the moment, without imprisoning myself in any
stereotyped cage."

Elisa - who claims fashion is an art form - started her career as a model in 2006 and has seen it gone from strength-to-strength with her being picked by Karl Lagerfeld to appear in his Mythology-themed Pirelli calendar.

She is a fan of leather, Chanel and her Godfather is legendary shoe designer Christian Louboutin.
